The case

So the case was relatively easy to do, but the plunger/stem thing was a lot harder. i made the plunger 8mm tall, and it has a platform of 2.5mm diameter, im expecting everything to change when i get the parts etc, but for now it looks ok ish. i made the hole 7.5mm wide so that there would be enough movement imo (see image). i added 2 M2 holes for screws and thats about it. I also prepared all the files and pushed to the repo. all i have now is the driver and stuff like the BOM etc.

PCB

So first I had to decide on the joystick that i was going to use. Whilst browsing through LCSC, i found the ALPSALPINE SKRHABE010 which is a low profile joystick which looks pretty good. I will add one in the middle of the module. I got resistors 1k and 100k which is rrly cool lol.

the pcb is done, now to move on to the 3d case which will be a different story.
